Following the success in North America and Australia and the recent launch in Europe, ZOLEO is looking for a hands-on Junior Marketing Manager to join the EMEA team. The role is initially for 12-months but it is likely that, depending on the candidate performance, it will transition to a permanent full-time position.
A joint venture between two leaders in the mobile satellite sector, Roadpost Inc. of Toronto, Canada and Beam Communications of Melbourne, Australia, ZOLEO has met with early success winning multiple innovation awards and enjoying rapid subscriber growth. The company is now continuing to expand its global reach and the Marketing Manager will work to plan and execute the marketing activities for the EMEA region. This role is suitable for a marketer who is well-rounded with a focus on digital campaigns and is comfortable working cross-functionally and across regions. The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented marketer with 3+ years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in eCommerce. D2C and B2B marketing experience in multiple European markets for a subscription-based or outdoor brand would be ideal.
The position will be part of a small EMEA team but working closely with the corporate marketing team in Canada. The Marketing Manager will create and execute the marketing plan to drive subscriber growth through its direct to consumer (D2C), Business (B2B) and distribution channels towards the development of the brand in Europe and in the UK.
Your track record of achievement reflects your deep understanding of branding, integrated marketing, research and analysis, campaign execution and agency management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the brand in Europe, prioritizing strategic initiatives and ensuring optimal use of resources to create momentum and maximize growth.
- Define and execute the Europe/UK marketing plans to build the brand, drive subscriber growth and achieve company goals.
- Lead the D2C and B2B marketing to achieve sales goals in the UK and Europe.
- Lead channel marketing delivering robust programs to enable sales and marketing effectiveness for wholesale partners.
- Cooperate with the broader team and build productive relationship with other teams, partners, and agencies.
- Create marketing materials and promotions that can be implemented across channels.
- Work with stakeholders to define the customer experience.
- Manage social media and content marketing to support objectives in each region.
- Marketing and project management including planning, budgeting, processes, reporting, and controls.
- Oversee marketing operations including mar-tech to integrate and streamline workflows.
- Define and track KPIs and marketing metrics for the region against targeted outcomes.
Skills and Experience
- Degree or qualification in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Three+ years of marketing experience; ideally for a subscription-based brand in multiple Europe markets.
- Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in English (company language) and in at least another European language including German, French, Spanish or Italian.
- Proven success using a mix of traditional, digital, and grass-roots approaches to attract, convert and retain subscribers throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Branding, linking the brand identity, values, and personality with target audiences.
- Content management, creation, and distribution.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing (e-commerce, SEO, SEM, social media, email, and content marketing), affiliate, influencer, and affinity marketing.
- Success executing integrated earned, shared, owned, and paid media programs.
- Understands the marketing mix, audience segmentation and customer-centric journey design.
- Successfully uses data to develop, implement and measure programs.
- Budgeting, forecasting and cost control.
- Outstanding attention to detail and quality. Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Nice to Have:
- Five+ years of marketing experience preferred.
- Experience supporting PR and media relations.
- Experience in an eCommerce subscription-based company or for an outdoor brand in multiple European markets.
- Experience in organizing trade show or event attendance.
- Experience in Channel Marketing.

This position can be based anywhere in the UK, Ireland, Portugal, Czech Republic, or Hungary. The role will be remote home-based. The company will provide all the necessary equipment to perform the job remotely.
