Yes. ZOLEO is designed for use beyond cell coverage. When cellular or Wi-Fi networks are unavailable, the ZOLEO device can send messages through the Iridium® satellite network with an active subscription. 

ZOLEO is for people who travel, work, or explore where cell coverage may be limited or unavailable. That includes hikers, campers, hunters, overlanders, boaters, remote workers, field teams, and anyone who wants a reliable way to stay connected to their Safety Circle. 

Your Safety Circle is the group of people who matter most while you’re away, such as family, friends, fellow adventurers, coworkers, or supervisors. ZOLEO helps you stay in touch with them through messaging, check-ins, and location sharing. 

Yes. ZOLEO includes a dedicated SMS number and email address, so your contacts can message you directly without owning a ZOLEO device. 

Yes. ZOLEO includes SOS alerting with 24/7 monitoring. In an emergency, you can trigger an SOS from the device or the app and communicate with the emergency response coordination centre through the ZOLEO app when connected. 

The free ZOLEO app lets you access two-way messaging, SOS alerting, check-ins, weather forecasts, and location sharing from your smartphone or tablet. 

Yes. ZOLEO lets you send your GPS coordinates in a message or check-in. Optional Location Share+ allows automatic location sharing at selected intervals, so your Safety Circle — friends, family, and loved ones — can follow your progress. 

Yes. A ZOLEO monthly subscription is required to transmit satellite messages and SOS alerts. Plans are flexible, with options to change, suspend, or cancel service based on your needs.
