ZOLEO Introduces the ZOLEO 1500, Strengthening Its Safety and Preparedness Platform
TORONTO, ON - July 29, 2026 – Roadpost Inc., a trusted provider of satellite communication solutions for more than three decades, today announced the launch of the ZOLEO 1500 alongside enhancements to the ZOLEO Safety and Preparedness Platform.
Designed for people who work, travel and adventure beyond reliable cell coverage, ZOLEO helps users stay connected while giving their Safety Circle, family members, friends, colleagues and supervisors, the visibility and confidence that comes with knowing they're safe. Together, the ZOLEO 1500, the free ZOLEO app and the MyZOLEO Portal deliver a connected experience that supports both the person in the field and the people counting on them.
“ZOLEO is designed not only for people travelling beyond cellular coverage, but also for the family and friends who want to know they are safe,” said Dror Nir, CEO of Roadpost Inc. “These updates strengthen that shared safety experience by making it easier for users and their Safety Circle to stay connected, informed, and prepared when it matters most.”
A refined device for the moments that matter
The new ZOLEO 1500 builds on the dependable experience customers already trust while introducing thoughtful refinements that make everyday use simpler and emergency situations easier to navigate.
Updates include a high-visibility Limestone exterior with a red SOS cover and green accents, USB-C charging, Bluetooth LE 5.2, and enhanced tactile feedback on the SOS and power buttons. The device continues to deliver the rugged durability, long battery life, and straightforward operation that customers rely on in remote environments.
As part of ZOLEO's ongoing commitment to delivering a dependable ownership experience, the launch also includes a Limited Lifetime Device Warranty for eligible customers, complementing the included two-year limited warranty.
Built for the user and their Safety Circle
ZOLEO is designed to support the person beyond coverage and the people connected to their safety.
Whether it's family following an overlanding trip, friends checking in during a backcountry adventure, or supervisors responsible for worker safety, ZOLEO helps everyone stay connected through one seamless communications experience.
Each ZOLEO activation includes a dedicated SMS number and email address, allowing members of a user's Safety Circle to reach them directly, even beyond cellular coverage. When paired with the ZOLEO app, messages automatically transition between cellular, Wi-Fi and the Iridium® satellite network, keeping conversations together in a single thread.
Greater visibility with ZOLEO Track
Included with every service plan, ZOLEO Track gives users and their Safety Circle greater visibility wherever they go.
Through the MyZOLEO Portal, users can review live and historical activity, while family members, colleagues and supervisors can follow progress through secure, time-limited tracking links, without needing a ZOLEO account. If a device goes quiet and the user has not responded, authorized contacts can also request its location for added reassurance.
More ways to stay protected
The launch also expands the availability of the optional Global Rescue® Field Rescue add-on. Previously offered only in the United States and Canada, it is now available to customers in all supported regions. The membership provides field rescue and medical transport benefits.
