ZOLEO 1500 is the most updated version of ZOLEO yet. 

It is not a separate product line or a major generational departure. Instead, it builds on the dependable ZOLEO experience with practical refinements focused on usability, connectivity and clarity. 

Easier to Find When It Matters 

ZOLEO 1500 features a light Limestone exterior with a red SOS cover and green accents. The more visible design helps make the device easier to identify in a pack, vehicle, work kit, or low-light environment. 

One Less Cable to Remember 

The move to USB-C provides a more familiar and widely used charging connection, making it easier to use the same type of cable already carried for many other everyday devices. 

A Dependable Connection to the ZOLEO App 

Bluetooth LE 5.2 supports reliable connectivity between ZOLEO 1500 and compatible smartphones using the free ZOLEO app. 

More Confident Button Feedback 

Enhanced button feedback on the SOS and power buttons helps make device interactions more distinct, including in situations where attention may be divided or conditions are demanding. 

These refinements come without changing the qualities customers already depend on. ZOLEO 1500 maintains the rugged durability, long battery life and straightforward operation designed for use beyond reliable cellular coverage. 

One Connected Conversation, Wherever Coverage Changes 

Peace of mind comes from knowing the connection between you and the people who matter does not simply disappear when cellular coverage does. 

The ZOLEO app, ZOLEO device and MyZOLEO Portal work together to create a connected safety and monitoring experience for both the person carrying the device and their Safety Circle. 

 Every activated ZOLEO includes a dedicated SMS number and email address, giving family, friends, coworkers and supervisors a direct way to reach the user — even when that person travels outside cellular coverage.

When ZOLEO 1500 is paired with the app, messages automatically transition between cellular, Wi-Fi and the Iridium® satellite network through the lowest-cost available network. Conversations remain together in a single thread, so users do not have to manage which network carries each message. 

The technology works in the background. What matters is the outcome: a familiar way to stay in touch as coverage and conditions change. 

Give Your Safety Circle Greater Visibility with ZOLEO Track

Sometimes a message is enough. Sometimes the people counting on you need greater visibility. 

ZOLEO Track is included with every ZOLEO service plan and available through the MyZOLEO Portal, giving users a clearer picture of device activity on desktop or mobile. 

Users can view live and historical activity and create secure, time-limited tracking links for selected members of their Safety Circle. 

That means a family member can follow an overlanding trip. A friend can keep an eye on a backcountry route. A supervisor can maintain visibility of workers operating remotely — without requiring those contacts to create a ZOLEO account. 

If a device has gone quiet and the user has not responded, authorized contacts can also request its location for added reassurance. 

Together, these capabilities help reduce uncertainty for the people connected to a user's safety without adding unnecessary steps for the person in the field.

More Ways to Stay Protected 

Protection beyond cell coverage can take different forms — from additional support in the field to confidence in the device you depend on. 

The optional Global Rescue® Field Rescue membership is becoming available to more ZOLEO customers. Previously offered only in the United States and Canada, the add-on is now available to customers across all regions supported by ZOLEO. 

The membership provides field rescue and medical transport benefits, giving travellers and remote workers another way to prepare for situations where getting to safety may require more than a message.
